Organizers listed the event as Bryant Park which is behind the main library building and despite confusion many did find their way to Fifth Avenue for the main event.
Once again it is worth noting the effective real time response to crowd control by NYPD who added cattle gates along Fifth Avenue to contain protesters while accomodating vehicle and pedestrian flows.
It screams of the willful ineptitude of the Capitol Police and Congress to keep the legendary January 6th protesters outside.
When the world’s most powerful and well funded “defense“ apparatus can’t secure the perimeter of the Capitol despite advance public announcements why should we imagine they are capable of any defense of America.
Surely 9-11 suggests that defense isn’t part of the qualifications at all when Hamas tunnels are more unassailable than the Pentagon which claims to have taken a direct hit from hijacked civilian aircraft off course for over an hour. Who but Congress would pay for security services that have epic fails each time they are put to the test?
It’s also worth noting that sentiments expressed by the signs are treated as inciting violence onlind by the rabid censorship complex yet the crowds are so respectful not even the rows of begonias that line the sidewalk are untouched.
This collection is a preview of the event at the library before march to New York Times two blocks away at Seventh Avenue.
A full album will be at Flickr later today and as always all pics free to share; enjoy and see you in the streets!! :~)
I don’t want to miss the link. Are you posting it here? That one sign “There is no flag large enough to cover the shame” gave me goosebumps.
