Pfizer's Monsanto Merger & FDA's Original Sin of "Substantial Equivalent"
From gmo food to jabs loopholes eliminate human health & safety testing to while giving corps liability cover to use humanity as its lab rats.
Interchangeable is just another word for “substantial equivalent” the most valuable loophole toxic chemicals were ever gifted by top buck lobbyists.
This is a master class in how loopholes are used to bypass safety testing in foods, drugs and chemicals. Any shred of ethics needs to be abandoned and notions of acts as unthinkable ditched as well. Part of the success is due to the fact that truth is often too horrible to process as true and traumatic to our fundamental beliefs.
There’s a wonderful new video discussion between Alix Mayer and Steve Kirsch and linked at the still shot above. Alix walks through the series of legal contortions done to keep liability waivers in place and explains the stealth transition plan from Emergency Use protections to blanket immunity for harm that comes with COVID jabs on the childhood vaccine list.
It’s a brilliant overview going to the heart of the issues of toxic profiteering and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The race to jab the children has zero to do with protecting kids from a virus that poses no threat, but it has everything to do with protecting Pfizer and PhARMA pals from lawsuits. Follow the money.
Despite endless claims by industry that gmo foods are tested for safety and approved by FDA neither one is true. Evil genius Michael Taylor created a loophole that essential says the gmo food will be added to the GRAS list if a handful of nutrient measures are “substantially equivalent“ to traditional foods.
The FDA do not look at differences or do any testing they take seller supplied 90 day trials and rubber stamp the notice. They never address the issue of every gmo variety patented as an “event“ with corporate owners. Sounds bad but it gets worse.
This program was introduced by Bush Sr. as a policy of deregulation so Monsanto et al simply make a notification to FDA or EPA when the gmo plants produce pesticides and that voluntary notification by the producer serves as a liability shield.
“Based on the nature of the genetic modification, it was not expected that glyphosate-tolerant soybeans would differ compositionally from other soybean varieties. To confirm this expectation, Monsanto carried out compositional analyses which focussed on analysis of whole beans but also included compositional analyses of major soy-derived products, including toasted soybean meal, soy oil, defatted soy flour, and soy protein isolate.“
An entire generation has been raised with the novel proteins in their diets and how healthy are we eating Roundup Ready diets based on what Monsanto believed? These are just the primary commodity crops and small sample of gmo ingredients in American diets. Is it a coincidence the growth in food allergy, illness rates & drug remedies parallel the crops? We don’t know because nobody looks.
It cannot be understated how a few insiders like Michael Taylor have the power to influence what has become a population wide feeding experiment. It cannot be repeated enough our Congress is overwhelmingly Wall Street lackeys.
Michael Taylor is too modest to own the “substantial equivalent“ loophole he wrote to bypass the FDA requirements for testing all “novel“ food products.
The novel foods should include everything that is not on the GRAS list. Foods were classified as GRAS or Generally Regarded As Safe when FDA first began regulating foods and drugs which were under one umbrella when Coke’s secret recipe included cocaine.
It made no sense to test every time honored traditional food nature produced, so the GRAS list includes corn, rice, wheat, sugar beets, papaya etc as GRAS foods based on a long history of safe use by humans.
This 2012 piece from GMWatch has a nice summary for Taylor’s revolving door career.
It’s worth noting that comments to FDA in support of gmo labels on packages in the GMWatch report above were over one million when FDA deleted the comments entirely and MSM ignored the story. Sound familiar to anyone?
More detail for the Taylor effect including excerpts from the groundbreaking book Seeds of Deception by Jeffrey Smith. Two decades later it’s still a bombshell of exhaustive research and invaluable source for toxic truth. (wayback link)
Once consumers began to identify the name Monsanto with its well earned reputation of the world’s most evil corporation Wall Street M&A dances shuffled the names like a street con with Three-Card Monte. Upside was dumping the pension liabilities and spinning off Solutia as a bankrupt entity liable for PCB pollution fines.
It’s the same strategy that has morphed mercenary Blackwater into Xe and Academe but never changed the business. Name changes disrupt the connections to history and limit search results; but once a dirtbag always a dirtbag and ways to cheat survive every merger and spin off.
But back to the policies that bury or ignore any negative information impacting profits even at the expense of human health and the environment. Before Monsanto was Bill Gates partner in propagating chemically dependent, fee based food seeds to the planet Monsanto was a straight chemical company known best for its role in warfare as makers of Agent Orange and assorted industrial chemicals.
It took decades of fighting for Veterans and civilians injured by Agent Orange to get a ruling the chemicals caused illness. The list of approved injuries is hardly a complete list of effects which are now known to be passed along to their children by genetic mutations created by toxic exposure.
A sensible thinking person would assume that product sales would be restricted or banned once there is evidence of harm but that’s not the way the system works in America. Corporations have full freedom and an assumption their products are safe and any challenge to that needs to be in a lawsuit.
Washington runs with a system of don’t look-don’t find and when testing to identify harm is omitted the toxic profiteers can chant the mantra, “We see no harm.“ You will see this model repeat in MSM with vaccines where the claims of no injuries or rare side effects are heavily promoted. In fact any evidence of harm is avoided.
Until 2020 Scorecard was online as the global authority for chemical safety with profiles for every chemical in commercial use and status of its safety testing. One can only guess why UC Davis decided it was in the public interest to pull it offline but the truth remains archived.
“If an industrial chemical is allowed by law to be released into the environment, most people assume that it must have been tested and evaluated for its potential risks. Unfortunately, this is simply not true…
For most of the important industrial chemicals in U.S. commerce, government lacks the information to draw any scientifically based conclusion about the degree of risk--or lack of risk--that a chemical may pose when used. For every chemical in the database, Scorecard tells you whether or not the information needed to assess chemical risk is available.“
Knowing how little is done to identify harm consider how much cancer is caused by these chemicals when even the few that have been established as dangerous are still dumped with abandon. The remedy was that Dubbya Bush ended collection of TRI data in 2002 and now nobody knows what the public exposure is. Problem solved!
For the past year VAERS has been smeared and maligned as an open system that overstates injury because individuals can file reports and accusations abound “anti-vax“ actors have manipulated totals like they are posted like Yelp reviews.
If there’s one thing VAERS excels at it is limiting submissions and verifying reports. The form takes over 30 minutes to complete and any interruption in the process the entire entry is lost and you need to start again. It involves pages of medical details, blood work and lab results all confirmed in a followup call by VAERS staff.
Where that leaves us is with a government that has abandoned any notion of public service and media who work as cheerleaders not adversarial journalists and a program of genocide that is not only marketed as a benefit but mandated in an authoritarian scheme of dying for profits.
Maybe it’s time for a popular revolution and for we the many to put aside our other differences to focus on the common threat to freedoms and democracy. There are countless ways to be involved and push back. Grab a sign and join the resistance.
