Slow Motion Execution of Julian Assange and Death to Free Press by War Criminals

In 2012 when Julian feared US extradition and sought refugee status in the Ecuadorian Embassy he was mocked in Guardian headlines yet here we are.

Tomorrow a London Court, whose actions would have served as Monty Python skit in another era, where video evidence in a Spanish court verified a plot to kidnap and kill a publisher who exposed war crimes is waved off with unenforceable assurances and backed by faith in Uncle Sam’s unbroken record of lying. The alleged crime is journalism in the public interest and this war on free press now normalized.

We aren’t in Orwell we are at the Mad Hatter’s tea party from Alice in Wonderland.

What a long strange trip it has been to May 20, 2024 which will be a clear Rubicon in the course of human history defined by depth of tyranical defravity our corp elite relish. How far can the bloodthirsty and censorious regime reach before the universal human innate desire for freedom boils over into long overdue revolution?

Maybe kismet, serendipity or angels but my life’s course has blessed me with some of the bravest, most magnificent humans among us to touch my heart. Many are woven into a WikiLeaks tapestry of intersecting orbits. All are fierce free speech advocates.

In 2010 my Monsanto research was under attack and Anonymous launched DDoS shut down PayPal & Bank of America to push back on their WikiLeaks blockade. DDoS is like a virtual sit in where the site is overwhelmed by user requests it is NOT hacking it is digital door blocking but charged as computer crime. What many learned then or maybe since, big tech platforms share user info and freeze or seize assets based on political views and targets from foreign governments to Canadian trucker donors.

As a reformed Beltway Bandit in networking space it was clear these Anonymous folks were the rescue team for my research and so began now thirteen year journey and random thoughts of folks along the way and extra hugs for so many favorites whose names are white washed from history or never known.

Tops in my cyber-angels category was known to us only as lorax until his arrest and hacking charges that were never proven. Even as an Australian FBI were able to upend his life, destroy his work, create enormous legal debt and impose gag orders to keep him off the air as host of wildly successful Anonymous Radio feature. Loraxlive series that was an amazing experience for me to produce and learn from.

Most of the 2012 shows survive but many more were lost by AFP and FBI computer seizures with fruitless search for evidence but gems remain. First they came for Assange and WikiLeaks then the journalists reporting leaks. Early on it felt like clear thinking and Constitutional rights would reverse the crazy ‘war on terror’ abuses turned on the public. For a brief moment it seemed Chris Hedges would prevail in his NDAA challenge to Obama with icons of free speech in court, but no.

Kudos to all who’ve been standing up but so many are knocked down time and again and here we are.. worse with time.

What does it say about the hopes of idealistic young computer genius Aaron Swartz who imagined a free wealth of knowledge and virtual Library of Alexandria that moved him to download volumes of JSTOR articles that were free to him at MIT but his code automated downloads and he was pursued with such aggressive criminal charges and treats of 35 years jail time DoJ drove him to suicide. Aaron is long gone but the censorship and spying by our corporate captured Congress has thrived. Unable to put a good face on genocide shared in TicToc images we watch as public servants assume a ruling class stance of filtering for the public they are elected to represent as Public Servants not masters of all who pay their obscene wages and privilege to plunder.

It’s hard to remember a more pronounced tipping point than where we are now. Every idea counter to Washington talking points is deemed propaganda by sources who lie most. What could be more desperate as Julian is slowly tortured to death than Chris Hedges to lead the most censored critics of perpetual war machine. It’s a vanishing free speech timeline… cast out of New York Times despite Pulitzer Prize winning journalism, erased from Youtube in an insipid, manufactured Russiagate hysteria and now 2024 deemed unfit for once respected independent news to host as a writer. Hedges was banished from TRN in one day; they folded like a cheap lawnchair with donor pressure. They will perish from from their own cowardice.

Yielding to tyrants does not improve anything.. kudos and thanks to resistance with an effort to show some of the places and faces who have worked to free Julian.
