Times Square Ferris Wheel
Flooding rains of Ida hit overnight; much of the region is dealing with power loss & damage, travel is discouraged & transit disrupted.
Luckily none of the problems affected me so I took it as a sign the Times Square Ferris wheel would have no line & it was the perfect time to check it out. It's been on my to do list because it’s ten stories higher than scaffolding gets me with the camera!
It was perfect, no line, sailed straight on and don’t want to do all the sorting to upload before sharing a few. In lieu of tweets an album preview. Ferris wheel runs Aug 25- Sept 12 glad it’s done it was pretty cool!!
The pods gave it more of a gondola feeling, especially for an old timer like me who thinks of country fairs, dangling feet and a single bar across the seat like a ski lift.

How long has there been a ferris wheel in Times Square? It takes a hurricane and tornado to discover this because our intrepid photographer was there!
