thanks so much, pamela. look at all those people, and i can feel their warmth shining through in the photos. no single protest will change anything, of course, but this is a war of attrition, and the good guys will win in the end. why am i so sure? because good draws energy from a limitless source, while the energy of evil is stagnant.
Abso-frigging-lutely heartfelt goodness shines through. Corp media does so much to bury resistance it's important we keep the record straight. Never remember which saint had the quote but it mirrors your conclusion.. Truth is like a lion let it loose and it will defend itself!
I keep saying that the reason things move so slowly is because of censorship and propaganda! If the truth could only be clearly seen, being "out there," we'd turn this ship around hella quick!
Thanks for this post, and great photos, and thanks for doing that. I long to be part of a group of protesting patriots, but they are hidden in my small town, I feel so isolated, and don't know how to find others... I live in WA State, very, very, WOKE, and not sure how to gather up ... Workin' on it! Slowly...
Exactly right it's like Julian's famous quote, "If lies can start wars truth can create peace." Unfortunately the propaganda machine is a giant force and much of the public is under the spell of the lies. While the street actions are wonderful to connect and embrace solidarity it's a small group even in huge cities where the numbers of feet in the street are a tiny percent. The feeling of being in a tiny minority is part of the propaganda pressure that keeps many silent even when they agree; there's fear of being a lone voice so we have a silent majority.
My suggestion is to become part of a bigger group online and when there is an event you can already have kindred spirits who help break that spell of isolation. Even in the days of Occupy where protesters had camps across the globe the spirit of solidarity thrived in the virtual spaces where ideas were the glue and location less important.
We're still fighting that same fight so the process of change is slower than watching grass grow but we are the seeds planting the ideas and eventually they will bloom everywhere. Even leaving a comment of support is a huge encouraging act of solidarity so big time thanks for that! :~)
Well, I'm not exactly silent, LOL! I haven't been able to find work for over a year, and I feel quite sure it's because of my presence on FB, which I quit, and now Substack... It's a small presence, perhaps, but I'm easily "outed" if someone searches my name.
I've tried to find peeps online that live near me, but it's deadly quiet in my area...
I feel that in time I can make my presence more known locally, but it's hard to get out and do a lot when you're scraping by with very little moola... I look forward to the day we, the Truthers, are vindicated.
I have the same kind of experience - Massachusetts, here - Cape Cod. I do have a few friends who are part of that "silent majority" and I suppose I am as well. I've never been to a protest as I usually just don't have time available. I find myself making gentle, tiny chinks in the denial armor people wear, and sometimes I find a little awareness lurking there. Pamela has some good advice in building relationships online and finding events and people nearby where we can meet in person.
We should all remember that it doesn't take anywhere near a majority to shift public action - it builds slowly, gradually becoming popular enough for others to be drawn into the good vibes. It's like Dumas wrote long ago- nothing is more powerful than an idea who's time has come. I think we're very, very close to that. I don't know which of the many lies and horrors will be the trigger for the shift. I've been praying for years that Julian can hold on and can be saved.
What's happened/happening to Julian is EVIL. Bless his heart, he's a martyr, hopefully not forever, to the cause of FREEDOM, of speech and physical freedom, too. For truth. I admire him and pray for him.
Just subscribed to your Woofings... I like your writing style and your canine wisdom, but you must acknowledge (like all good dogs do), that cats can be cool friends too.
OF COURSE! Being a dog is my "persona." I tell people I have not an inner child, but an inner dog. Sometimes, in that persona, I say rude things about cats, but it's only in good fun, and part of being "in character." ;)
I've been doing doggish things for decades... Humor writing, etc. It's a howl.
True and thanks for the link. With most of my research focused on more recent history your analysis will take slow thoughtful time to read in its entirety. I have been a WikiLeaks supporter since 2010 and supporter of Julian since the troubles began with Collateral Murder release.
What we need now more than anything is public pressure and to that end NYCFreeAssange will be outside UK Consulate on Saturday 1pm 47th St @ Second Ave quick walk from Grand Central.. the more the merrier & fab speakers list and soon after pics w update from me! :~)

Much high minded, self-congratulatory prose will attend the release of Julian Assange, notably by the so-called Liberal Intellectual Left, who said nothing - they always knew better - and now move rapidly to that gravy train of high moral mindedness.
Julian beat the system, they will say and so affirm the great democratic values of ours.
Excellent double-think. Maybe some of them believe it.
He beat nothing. He served his time.

Cats are super cool one of my most favorite Substacks is feline wisdom of bad cat el gato!

I love gato too!
I used to read that, but some of the people on there are kind of vicious sometimes, so I'm taking a break.

Assange gets a brief mention here but deals more with underlying drivers.
Julian Assange has "served his sentence" - Lawfare. The process is the punishment.
The punishment is the process.
In the trade - known as Sending A Message.
That message is - If you confront us with effect, this is what happens to you.
Same for individuals as it is for nation states.
Problem - They cannot push around nor impose their classical imperial oversight on China or Russia.

You may travel under the radar, until you are effective.
When you become effective, you will not be tolerated.
