It's hilarious to me that you'd expecting the law to apply to the lawless. Your government is operating to spec. This is not a variation; it's within normal limits.
Eh, mechanisms of destruction can't be mistaken for cause.. as Julian Assange said in better words about Iraq, the goal is endless war to launder money from pockets of taxpayers... the first job of Congress is to manage spending and that is where the buck stops for controlled demolition as clear as Pelosi's stock trading record.. all traitors!
I see a few signs representing other countries who stand in solidarity. I went to the Flicker album to see if I can catch some more but maybe I’m just daft and not seeing where to go? Or did I misunderstand and the new album hasn’t uploaded yet?
Fabulous captures, as always! I like the backdrop of the library with its lions and posters of “protect the power to read” juxtaposed with the signs of the protests and the shirts people are wearing.
So what you protested. What does that accomplish other than you getting some feel good brain chemicals for "raising awareness." Tell me what the plan of resistance looks like. Who is coordinating a general strike? Who is leading tax resistance workshops? Where are the mutual aid networks? Who's providing legal services?
I'm less convinced that protest is a meaningful thing when it seldom (if ever) gets paired with resistance strategies and tactics.
Awareness?! You'd have to be living in a rock under a rock in a hole filled with rocks to not be "aware" of the genocide in Gaza--which, after all the bloody ineffectual protest, continues apace and is spreading to Lebanon. What has protest actually accomplished?
I'm reminded of Doug Stanhope's brilliant critique of OWS. Here was a massive gathering of people motivated to actually effect change, who had the critical mass to really do something...and what did they do with the oppty? Drum circles and waving signs. Jesus Christ what a waste.
BDS on steroids. Tax resistance. General strike. That's what is needed. Everybody wants a revolution but nobody wants to stop paying taxes. If the people protesting mean what they're saying, they need to take the next steps and be prepared to get profoundly uncomfortable doing so.
Gotta agree with Joshua that it gives voice to objection and stands as a visible measure to others who may be silent observers that the lies and manufactured consensus corp media pumps out is not reflecting the will of the people.
Another benefits of feet in the street is the opportunity to talk to each other without Google managing the sources but free to let ideas drive thoughts organically. Lastly it is a huge error to discount the energy of humans gathered together for any shared experience.. whether it's a family reunion picnic or funeral, church service, lecture, concert or protest event, there is something powerful we humans take from groups.
Is no protests at all, better? Though protests-with-no-follow-through is lacking, and maybe not as good as 'a properly mass co-ordinated plan'..., given the dearth of the latter, at least protests signal awareness. They know that we know they are psychos who should be in jail.

Why didn't anyone charge and arrest elenskies with war crimes rather than legitimize his failed Ukraine residency.
Ditto Isra Hell owns our asses.
Ukraine and isra hell have destroyed America

I don't understand why someone doesn't arrest him at the UN meeting right now.
Antony Blinken would say it's a violation of the International Rules Based Order, sigh. :~(
Yes, he would. But hasn't he just been caught lying about Israel preventing aid getting into Gaza?
I know -- arresting Netanyahu right now would probably not be possible. Wishful thinking...
You're not alone in the wishful thinking or disgust for murderous liars. <3
Thank you for bringing the demonstration to me. I had every intention of being there.
Catch you next Saturday in Times Square.. pics almost as good as being there!

Thanks for the share. 🙌
